Dr. Loretta Kershaw MD, DNM, DHM, (Miramas Founder and Medical Director)

Dr. Kershaw is a Cuban trained Medical Doctor, who has studied and researched natural medicine therapies for over 20 years. She works in Canada as a Doctor of Homeopathic Medicine and a Doctor of Natural Medicine, she also has a certification as a Naturopathic Doctor from the UK.

Dr. Kershaw understands the importance of addressing all the healing levels of the body.  Her specialty is focusing on and finding and removing the patient’s blockages to healing so that the appropriate techniques or treatments will be more effective. Due to her background she is able to competently address biological and functional medicine.  However, she prefers to work with high resonance remedies and techniques that positively encourage the whole-body to heal, while respecting the patient’s belief system and personal life path. 

Dr. Kershaw is currently the president of the Canadian Society of Bioregulatory Medicine and an active member of the International Society of Homeopathy and Homotoxicology. Back in her native country she teaches for the professional medical association of natural and traditional medicine, plus she is an active member of the Cuban Foundation for Man and Nature and an avid supporter of ecological and social projects. As a result of her efforts she is an international commissioner and doctor of Missionary Medicine for the World Organization of Natural Medicine, and has their Order of International Ambassadors.

Her interest in homeopathy, lead her to specialize in homotoxicology (trained in Germany) and European Biological Medicine, (trained with Paracelsus Institute of Switzerland). During this time, she has gained expertise in pleomorphism according to Enderlein, classical darkfield microscopy, metabolic nutrition, bioresonance therapies and various forms of biopuncture. To compliment this functional understanding of the body, she has also extensively studied the Psycho-Neuro-Endocrino-Immunological relationship.  She has studied biomedical acupuncture, cranio-sacral therapy, reiki, Swedish relaxation massage, and sound therapy.  Additionally, Dr. Kershaw has attained the highest level of training in Psychosomatic Energetics, from its International Academy, which has now become the main foundation of her private natural medical practice.

Aside from being academically gifted, Dr. Kershaw has an intuitive and natural insight into understand humans. She can easily understand and integrate her findings on a biological, psychological, emotional, energetic or physical level. Furthermore, she understands the interconnectedness between them all, and knows the best approach for the unique situation that a patient brings.
